Mega Walkin for Security Analyst

Exp: 1 - 6 years

Education: Any Graduate

Role: Security Analyst/IT Security Engineer:

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform analysis of security, compliance, and user activity reports
• User activity across the application, database, servers, desktop, host, and network platforms
• Anti-virus and IPS alerts
• Network-based web proxy Events
• Monitoring and analyzing DLP alerts
• Enterprise system logs including application logs, syslogs, etc.
• Respond & resolve critical issues related to security
• Monitor & report security incidents, event analysis ,when required investigate and provide evidences. 
• Documentations of all the security related activities
• Work with various IT and business unit leads to ensure timely and accurate reports, proper handling of security information and develop/optimise cyber reporting capabilities
• Will assist in specification, development, deployment, and usage of complex cyber security systems through global environments
• Stay informed about the latest developments in the information security field, including new products and services, through on-line news services, technical magazines, professional associations, industry conferences, training seminars, and other information sources.
• Support other information security and risk management activities, goals and objectives as requested
• Should have good verbal and written communication skills 

The ideal candidate:

• Should have minimum of one year experience in the information security field with experience in implementing and supporting information systems such as firewall / DLP / AV / Content filtering etc
• The candidate will be implementing, monitoring security events of users spread across the globe
• Should be knowledgeable in a wide variety of industry standard security tools and reporting systems
• Should have a strong information security background 
• Knowledge in data analysis, investigation method
• Should have experience with a wide variety of security technologies and processes to quantify and mitigate risks 

Should also possess:

• Application, database, host, and network platform audits and reviews 
• Assist with identifying and creating needed policies on platform security baselines on versions and patch levels as needed
• Identify and drive other needed policy and maintenance windows across all platforms
• Knowledge of application and security event logging systems.
• Knowledge of Internet connectivity and protocols (TCP/IP), and networking experience.
• Breadth of knowledge and experience in enterprise information systems including infrastructure, services, and applications.
• Technical leadership skills to provide world-class information system solutions. 
• Strong technical skills and the ability to interact w/ senior level engineers and outside subject matter experts.
• Strong knowledge of common operating system and business application platforms with an understanding of enterprise architecture and integrations.
