Skills:

• Excellent Communication Skills - both written and Oral
• Open for night shift (7 pm - 4 am)
• Any domain would work. Retail , supply chain domain would be an added advantage.

Job Duties/Responsibilities:(Not required to have same profile)

• Monitor and report on all XOT pickups and deliveries nationally for entire logistics team daily. 
• Call DDCs, service providers, MDO managers/staff, to ensure appointments are maintained and that information is communicated in a timely manner. 
• Work closely with transportation/operations team to identify opportunities that improve transportation efficiencies. 
• Make necessary changes to scheduled deliveries resulting from equipment failure, weather delays or emergencies.
• Notify necessary parties (internal and external) involved in changes to plan.
• Investigating and resolving issues in a timely manner while successfully managing to the customer and network expectations which involves lengthy phone conversations. 
• Run various transportation reports.
• Record all incoming calls and relevant conversations in the TMS database. Log issues and provide resolutions on a daily basis.
• Work with the various DC departments to resolve daily issues logged in the TMS database.
• Report any repetitive issues to the Transportation Manager and General Manager.
• Provide essential daily communication to both internal and external parties 
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Skills:

• Minimum 1-3 years applicable experience preferably in Transportation, Logistics, and/or Distribution operations. 
• Understanding of customer and carrier time commitments and their impact. 
• Understanding of the geographical make-up of the DDC's network.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office is required as well as corporate operating systems. 
• Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to effectively interface with all levels of internal and external personnel.
• Strong organizational, analytical and problem solving skills. 
• Must be a self-starter and highly motivated individual able to work independently. Managing own time and prioritizing workload during evening hours.
• Demonstrate strong commitment to Company policies, principles and processes.
• The ability to adapt to change and work under pressure. 
• Safe work record.
